Ammijee's Kitchen

Restaurant Operations, Delivery & Online Ordering

One screen to run a whole restaurant group: orders, delivery and the kitchen, replacing a pile of separate tools for Ammijee's Kitchen.

01

The challenge

A restaurant that also does delivery and online orders is secretly three businesses: the counter, the kitchen, and whatever the phone and the delivery apps are up to. Each arrives with its own screen, so the staff end up as the glue, reading an order off one system and typing it into another in the middle of service, exactly when there's no time to be careful.

Ammijee's Kitchen wanted the whole operation visible from one place, across more than one location, without adding a single step to how a busy kitchen already works.

02

How we approached it

We started with the order, not the software. One order record that every screen reads from and writes to, whether it came from the counter, the website or a delivery channel. Get that right and the screens stop being separate systems; they become different views of the same thing.

The kitchen view is built to be read at a glance from across the room: big type, status shown by colour and position, nothing to tap. The management view does the opposite, with detail on demand across every location.

Delivered in our usual two-to-four-week rhythm, in short cycles with working software at the end of every one.

03

What we delivered

  • Online ordering for customers, feeding the same pipeline as the counter
  • A kitchen display that shows live orders and their status, with nobody re-typing them
  • Delivery, dine-in and collection handled in one queue
  • Multi-location management: a whole group under one login, not one per site
  • Menu, prices and availability changed once and updated everywhere
  • Sales and order-mix reports across every location

The outcome

Re-typing orders between channels is gone. An online order is the very same record the kitchen sees, so nobody copies it and nobody copies it wrong.

Menu and price changes now happen once, instead of once per system and once per location.
