ICSI
Internal Support & Ticket Management Platform
An internal support and ticketing platform for ICSI, giving every internal request one place to be raised, owned and resolved.
The challenge
Internal support usually starts in chat and email, and that works right up until it doesn't. Requests land in several places, nobody is clearly responsible, and simple questions have no reliable answer: what's still open, who has it, how long has it waited, and does the same issue keep coming back?
ICSI needed every request in one queue, with ownership that's stated, not assumed.
How we approached it
We designed the ticket lifecycle first (raised, triaged, owned, resolved), because a support tool is really an agreement about what state each request is in. The screens come after.
Then we made the right thing quick: raising a request takes moments, and every ticket shows its owner and its age at a glance, without anyone having to ask.
Delivered in our usual two-to-four-week rhythm, in short cycles with working software at the end of every one.
What we delivered
- One front door for internal requests, replacing scattered chats and email threads
- Clear ownership and status on every ticket
- Triage and assignment, so nothing sits unclaimed
- Full history on each request, so repeat problems show up as patterns
- Reports on volume, ownership and resolution

The outcome
Requests no longer rely on someone spotting a message. They go into a queue, not an inbox.
The chasing (who's got this, and where has it got to?) is now answered by the system instead of by a person.
