When the device you need doesn't exist yet.

Sometimes the right device simply doesn't exist, or it exists but refuses to talk to your systems. That's where we come in. We design and build the hardware, then connect it to the software around it, because a sensor whose data nobody can read isn't a solution.

We take you from requirement to prototype, testing and integration, with the same short cycles and plain-English updates we use on software.

01

What is included

  • Custom hardware design

Requirements, parts and design built for the job in front of you, with cost and lead time clear before anything gets ordered.

  • Prototyping and testing

Working prototypes early, tested in real conditions instead of on a bench, so mistakes get fixed while they're still cheap.

  • System integration

Getting the device to talk to your software, your network and your existing kit. The part most hardware projects underestimate.

  • Performance optimisation

Power, reliability, speed and cost tuned once the design works, in that order.

  • Hardware maintenance

Documentation, a spares plan and support so your equipment keeps running long after the project wraps up.

02

How a project runs

We start with the job the hardware has to do and the systems it has to fit into, not with a shiny device. That defines what we build.

Most of our projects go live in two to four weeks. Bigger scope? You get a working MVP within eight weeks, then new releases in short cycles, each one ending with software you can actually use.

If component lead times will drive the timeline, we tell you upfront and plan around it, rather than promise you a software-speed schedule.

03

When to bring us in

  • You need to measure, control or connect something physical, and no product on the market does exactly that.
  • Your hardware can't talk to your software, so the workaround is a person with a clipboard.
  • A prototype exists, but it was never engineered for reliability, cost or manufacturing.
  • Your networking, software and hardware come from three different suppliers, and the gaps between them land on your desk.

Questions we are asked

Do you also build the software the hardware needs?
Yes, and that's usually the whole point. We deliver the firmware, the integration and the app around the device as one project, from one team.
How long does a hardware project take?
Prototypes usually follow the same two-to-four-week rhythm as our software work. Production runs depend on component lead times, which we flag at the scoping stage.
Can you work from an existing design?
Yes. We review it, test it and tell you exactly what it needs, which is often a lot less than a full redesign.

Tell us what you're building.

We reply with a clear scope, an honest timeline and a fixed next step.
